Deck Replacement with Composite Decking

Project Overview

This project involved replacing an aging deck that had begun to deteriorate due to years of exposure to the elements. The existing structure showed signs of rot and wear, making it the right time for a complete rebuild with stronger, longer-lasting materials.
The new deck was built with pressure-treated framing and finished with TimberTech composite decking, creating a durable outdoor living space that requires far less maintenance while providing a clean, modern appearance.

Job Description

The project began by removing the existing stair system and inspecting the framing beneath the deck. Damaged and weathered components were replaced as needed to create a solid foundation for the new staircase, while sections of the lattice enclosure were rebuilt to improve both appearance and support.

Project Highlights

Once the structural work was complete, new composite stair treads and white PVC railings were installed to provide a durable, low-maintenance finish. Careful attention was given to the stair layout, railing alignment, and trim details, resulting in a staircase that improves accessibility, enhances curb appeal, and is built to provide years of reliable performance.
