This project involved replacing an existing deck that had begun to rot and deteriorate over time. The goal was to rebuild the space into something stronger, longer-lasting, and more visually appealing.
We rebuilt the structure using pressure-treated framing for durability and installed TimberTech composite decking for a low-maintenance, long-lasting surface. Composite decking is a great option for resisting moisture, wear, and seasonal changes while maintaining a consistent look.
A unique part of this was the customer’s preference to leave the wood framing exposed rather than covering it with trim, which is more commonly done. This gave the deck a natural, detailed appearance and highlighted the craftsmanship of the build.
To complete the space, we installed black powder-coated aluminum railings, adding a clean contrast and modern finish while maintaining strength and durability.
